TIELUG is a group of AFOLs, or Adult Fans of LEGO® who live in
Southern California's Inland Empire,
which includes Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
Who can be a part of TIELUG?
TIELUG is for AFOLs - Adult Fans of Lego®. Officially, members must be 18 years or older, howver, we have
seen some exceptional builders as young as 13 or 14 years old. These young builders are welcome as long as their
parents are members and attend the meetings with them. Members are welcome to bring their children to most
of our activities,
depending on the event and location.
Please remember, though, we are a club for adults; with activities, discussions, and events aimed at adults.
NOTE: Some activities that are supported by The LEGO Group or run by third-parties,
(such as conventions),
require participants to be 18 years or older.
Does it cost anything to join TIELUG?
Yes. We have instituted a one time membership fee of $10.00 to join. All family members are included in this
fee. We also strongly urge members to purchase a TIELUG t-shirt to wear at our events. Members' children
are REQUIRED to wear TIELUG t-shirts in order to participate in our events.
There are no monthly dues.
Does TIELUG have a Code of Conduct?
TIELUG is an informal group. We don't elect officers or use “Robert's Rules of Order” to conduct our meetings
or anything formal like that. We do, however, expect our members to treat each other with kindness, respect,
and honesty.
Additionally, no LUG member may present him‐ or her‐self as representing or speaking for the LUG in any
public forum, to the media, or professionally, without specifically being asked to do so by the membership.
